Brief description of the main scopes

As a member of the Ecophysiological and Environmental Toxicological Research Group, I am involved in the analytical measurement of pharmaceutical active compounds (e.g., endocrine disruptors) and organic UV-filter compounds in environmental samples. My work includes sample preparation and execution of extraction procedures required for analytical measurements, including solid-phase extraction (SPE) using the Dionex™ AutoTrace™ 280, microwave-assisted extraction (ETHOS UP High Performance Microwave Digestion System), and Soxhlet extraction.
I also participate in environmental and human health risk assessment.
