Brief description of the main scopes
  • My research focuses on the occurrence, seasonal dynamics, and ecological risks of UV-filter compounds used in cosmetics entering Lake Balaton.
  • I develop and apply analytical methods across multiple environmental matrices (water, sediment, periphyton, mussels) using SPE–UHPLC–MS/MS techniques.
  • In addition to environmental monitoring, I assess the complex physiological effects of these compounds through experimental ecotoxicological studies (Daphnia sp., Lymnaea stagnalis). My aim is to establish an integrated, multi-matrix approach that advances the understanding of Lake Balaton’s ecological status while supporting its sustainable use.
