Brief description of the main scopes
I primarily study the chemical aspects of plant-microbe interactions under field conditions as well as using laboratory models, mainly focusing on crops belonging to the Brassicaceae family. In addition, I have led numerous research projects related to the phytochemical analysis of medicinal plants. My main approach is untargeted metabolomics (with LC-MS and GC-MS), complemented by high-throughput metabarcoding and data mining techniques (correlation networks, SEM).
Main profile in keywords
